Subscription Terms

Everything you need to know about billing, free trials, and cancellation.

1. Overview

These Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") govern your purchase and use of premium subscription plans within the Bridal Body mobile application ("App"), operated by Soma Welling Ltd ("we", "us", "our", or the "Company"). These Subscription Terms form part of and should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

By subscribing to Bridal Body, you agree to these Subscription Terms. If you do not agree, please do not subscribe.

2. Subscription Plans

Bridal Body offers Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly subscription plans. Prices are displayed in your local currency as determined by the Apple App Store in your region and may vary. Both plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

2.1 Premium Monthly

  • Billing cycle: Monthly (every 30 days from the date of purchase)
  • Includes: 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers

2.2 Premium Yearly

  • Billing cycle: Annually (every 365 days from the date of purchase)
  • Includes: 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers

2.3 What Premium Includes

Both subscription plans provide full access to all Bridal Body features, including:

  • Personalised workout programmes tailored to your fitness level, goals, available time, and training days per week
  • 8-week rotating workout programmes with exercise swap functionality
  • Customised calorie and macronutrient targets
  • Full recipe library (200+ recipes across breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts)
  • AI-powered fitness and nutrition coach (Bridie) with up to 10 messages per day
  • Progress tracking (weight, body measurements, progress photos)
  • Apple Health integration for step tracking
  • Menstrual cycle tracking
  • Daily habit tracking
  • Full educational content library including wedding day tips, nutrition guidance, training advice, mindset coaching, and more
  • Weekly check-in reviews with personalised analysis
  • Water intake tracking
  • Meal logging and macro tracking

2.4 Feature Availability

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features from the subscription at any time. We will endeavour to provide notice of any material changes to the features included in your subscription. Adding new features will not result in additional charges during your current billing period.

3. Free Trial

3.1 Eligibility

  • A 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers only
  • Each Apple ID is eligible for one free trial only
  • If you have previously subscribed to Bridal Body or used a free trial, you will not be eligible for another free trial

3.2 Trial Period

  • The free trial begins when you confirm your subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system
  • You will have full access to all premium features during the trial period
  • The trial lasts for 7 consecutive days from the date of activation

3.3 Conversion to Paid Subscription

  • At the end of the 7-day trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the rate of the plan you selected (Monthly or Yearly)
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours of the trial period ending
  • If you do not wish to be charged, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends

3.4 Cancellation During Trial

  • You may cancel your free trial at any time during the 7-day period
  • If you cancel during the trial, you will retain access to premium features until the trial period ends
  • No charge will be applied if you cancel before the trial expires
  • To cancel, go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Bridal Body → Cancel Subscription

4. Billing and Payment

4.1 Payment Method

  • All payments are processed exclusively through Apple's In-App Purchase system
  • We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details
  • You must have a valid payment method associated with your Apple ID to subscribe

4.2 Billing Cycle

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed every 30 days from the date of initial purchase or trial conversion
  • Yearly subscriptions are billed every 365 days from the date of initial purchase or trial conversion
  • Billing occurs automatically unless you cancel

4.3 Automatic Renewal

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends
  • The renewal charge will be at the same rate as your current subscription plan, unless we have notified you of a price change in advance
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period

4.4 Payment Confirmation

  • You will receive a receipt from Apple for each payment
  • You can view your payment history in your Apple ID settings
  • We will send you a subscription confirmation email when you first subscribe

4.5 Failed Payments

  • If a payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), Apple will attempt to process the payment according to their retry policies
  • Your access to premium features may be suspended until payment is successfully processed
  • We are not responsible for any disruption caused by payment failures

4.6 Currency and Pricing

  • Prices are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
  • Prices in other currencies are set by Apple based on their pricing tiers and may vary due to exchange rates and local taxes
  • All prices include applicable VAT where required

5. Cancellation

5.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time using one of the following methods:

On your iPhone:

  • Open Settings
  • Tap your name (Apple ID) at the top
  • Tap Subscriptions
  • Select Bridal Body
  • Tap Cancel Subscription

On your Mac/PC:

  • Open the App Store (Mac) or iTunes (PC)
  • Go to Account → View My Account → Subscriptions
  • Select Bridal Body
  • Click Cancel Subscription
Important: Cancellation must be done through Apple. We cannot cancel your subscription on your behalf, as all billing is managed by Apple.

5.2 Effect of Cancellation

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain full access to all premium features until your current paid period expires
  • After your subscription expires, your account will revert to a limited/inactive state
  • Your data (workouts, nutrition logs, progress photos, etc.) will be retained and accessible if you resubscribe
  • Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription — you must cancel through Apple

5.3 Resubscribing

  • You can resubscribe at any time through the App
  • If you resubscribe, your previous data and progress will be restored
  • A new free trial will NOT be offered if you have previously used one
  • Your new billing cycle will begin from the date of resubscription

6. Refunds

6.1 Apple's Refund Policy

  • All purchases are made through Apple's In-App Purchase system
  • Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple, not to Bridal Body
  • Apple has sole discretion over whether to grant a refund

6.2 How to Request a Refund from Apple

  • Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Select "Request a refund"
  • Choose the reason for your refund
  • Select the Bridal Body subscription charge
  • Submit your request

6.3 Our Refund Position

  • We do not offer direct refunds, as all billing is handled by Apple
  • We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period
  • If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, please contact us at hello@bridalbody.app and we will work to resolve the issue

6.4 Cooling-Off Period

Under UK consumer law, you may have the right to cancel a digital content purchase within 14 days of purchase if the digital content has not yet been fully provided. By subscribing and immediately accessing premium content, you acknowledge that you are requesting the digital content to be provided immediately and that you lose your right to cancel once the content is fully provided. This does not affect your statutory rights or Apple's own refund policies.

7. Price Changes

7.1 Notification

  • We reserve the right to change the price of any subscription plan at any time
  • You will be notified of any price changes at least 30 days before they take effect
  • Notification will be provided via email and/or in-app notification

7.2 Existing Subscribers

  • Price changes will not affect your current billing period
  • The new price will apply from your next renewal date after the change takes effect
  • If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel your subscription before it renews at the new rate

7.3 New Subscribers

New subscribers will be charged at the current published rate at the time of subscription.

8. Promotional Offers and Discounts

8.1 Offer Terms

  • We may from time to time offer promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers
  • Each offer will have its own specific terms and conditions, which will be communicated at the time of the offer
  • Promotional offers are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise

8.2 Introductory Offers

  • Introductory pricing (if offered) applies only to the initial subscription period
  • After the introductory period, the subscription will renew at the standard rate
  • Introductory offers are available to new subscribers only (one per Apple ID)

8.3 Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are not currently available. If gift subscriptions are introduced in the future, specific terms will be published at that time.

9. Account Access and Restrictions

9.1 Single User Licence

  • Your subscription is for your personal use only
  • You may not share your account or subscription with others
  • Each subscription is tied to a single Apple ID and may be used on devices linked to that Apple ID

9.2 Device Limits

  • Your subscription may be used on any Apple device signed in with your Apple ID
  • You may only be actively logged in on one device at a time

9.3 Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend your access to premium features if we detect:

  • Account sharing or unauthorised use
  • Abuse of the Service or AI coach
  • Violation of our Terms of Use
  • Fraudulent activity

We will notify you of any suspension and the reason for it. During suspension, your billing will continue unless you cancel through Apple.

10. Service Availability

10.1 Uptime

  • We aim to maintain the Service at all times but do not guarantee 100% availability
  • The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control
  • We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible

10.2 Outages

  • In the event of an extended outage (more than 72 consecutive hours), we will work with Apple to offer affected subscribers appropriate remedies
  • We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by temporary unavailability of the Service

10.3 Discontinuation

If we decide to discontinue the Service entirely, we will:

  • Provide at least 60 days' notice
  • Stop accepting new subscriptions
  • Allow existing subscribers to complete their current billing period
  • Provide users with the ability to export their data
  • Process all outstanding refund requests through Apple

11. Changes to Subscription Terms

  • We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time
  • Material changes will be communicated via email and/or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect
  • Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
  • If you do not agree with any changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect

12. Data and Subscriptions

12.1 Data Retention After Cancellation

  • If you cancel your subscription, your data will be retained for 24 months in case you choose to resubscribe
  • After 24 months of inactivity, we may contact you to ask if you wish to retain your data
  • You can request immediate deletion of your data at any time, regardless of subscription status

12.2 Data During Subscription

  • Your subscription data (status, plan type, billing dates) is managed through RevenueCat
  • We do not store your payment information — this is handled entirely by Apple

13. Consumer Rights

13.1 UK Consumer Rights

  • Nothing in these Subscription Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law
  • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for a particular purpose, and as described
  • If the Service does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund

13.2 Complaints

  • If you have a complaint about your subscription or the Service, please contact us at hello@bridalbody.app
  • We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 14 days
  • If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may have the right to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) service

13.3 European Commission Online Dispute Resolution

If you are based in the EU, you can also submit a complaint through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
